Direct trains connect Stansted Airport with Colchester station. Journey time is just under one hour. Coaches also run from the airport to Colchester and take around 75 minutes. There is no taxi rank at Stansted; taxis must be booked at the taxi desk on the international arrivals concourse.
Driving directions from Stansted Airport: take the A120 and join A12 to Colchester. Take the 3rd exit to Colchester A1232 signposted Colchester North and Harwich A120. Take the left turning for Ardleigh A1232. At roundabout continue straight over, take the exit for A120 Harwich and Clacton. Immediately off the roundabout, turn left (signposted Gnome Magic Hotel and Golf Range). Follow road and hotel is on left.
